Tuna, Onion, and Lentil Salad
A hearty and nutritious salad combining protein-rich tuna and lentils with crisp onions.
Ingredients
- Canned Tuna (6 oz)
- Cooked Lentils (1 cup)
- Red Onion (1 count)
- Cherry Tomatoes (8 oz)
- Dijon Mustard (1 tbsp)
Instructions
- Drain the canned tuna and flake it into a large bowl
- Rinse and drain the cooked lentils, then add them to the bowl with the tuna
- Finely chop the red onion and add it to the bowl
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to make a simple dressing
- Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and gently toss to combine
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed
- Serve immediately or chill before serving if desired
